Course Overview
The Master of Computer Engineering at Mokwon University prepares students for advanced careers in information technology through research, practical learning, and engineering education. Students study artificial intelligence, software engineering, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science, networking, and embedded systems using laboratory work, research projects, and technical seminars. The program develops programming, research, analytical thinking, and project management skills that are valuable across many technology sectors.

General Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- A recognised bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
- Official academic transcripts and graduation certificate.
- Valid passport.
- English or Korean language test results, if required.
- Statement of purpose or study plan.
- Recommendation letters if requested by the graduate school.
- Financial documents showing the ability to cover tuition and living expenses.
- Completed application form and payment of the application fee.
- International students may apply for entrance scholarships, TOPIK-based tuition scholarships, graduate academic scholarships, and other financial support based on academic performance and language ability.
Part Time Work Details
International students with a valid D-2 visa may work part-time after approval from the university and Korean Immigration. Working hours follow current immigration regulations and language proficiency requirements.
Language Requirement
Applicants for English-medium study may submit one of the following:
- IELTS Academic: Overall 5.5 or above
- TOEFL iBT: 71 or above
- PTE Academic: 42 or above
- Duolingo English Test: 95 or above
Applicants for Korean-medium study usually need TOPIK Level 3 or higher. Language requirements may vary by department and admission period.
