BSc (Hons) Politics with Foundation Year

... United Kingdom
... Canterbury Christ Church University-CCCU

Course Overview

Skills of clear-sighted political analysis are needed more than ever before, as our traditional political ‘certainties’ crumble and as our world is faced with persistent injustices and new challenges. Our Politics degree situates the big issues of the day in their historical and philosophical contexts.

You’ll explore continuity and change in local, national, and global dimensions of politics, and scrutinize political ideas, structures, and approaches that will help you to understand and address our complex, and ever-changing circumstances.

The foundation year will develop your skills in critical thought and analysis, working as part of a team, networking, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. These valuable assets will help you to enter roles in a variety of sectors such as national or local government, non-governmental organizations, journalism, or teaching.
