The primary aim of this degree programme is to develop a theoretical understanding of the key concepts of computer games development and design. It will showcase the wider impact and importance of game software and technology to both society and the UK and the global digital economy. Students will develop highly transferable computational thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a broad range of software development skills.
Minimum three A levels. No specific subjects are required. Welsh Baccalaureate – Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate is considered a third subject.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in all elements, or equivalent.
