The MPhil and Ph.D. programs in Chemical Engineering attract students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds such as statistics, maths, electrical engineering, chemistry, Every article, instrument, machine, or device we use depends on its success upon materials, design, and effective production. We work on a wide range of materials topics including: new material development optimizing of materials processing testing and evaluation at component scale and at a high spatial resolution modeling failure analysis and physics. You may work on multidisciplinary research projects in collaboration with colleagues across the University or from external organizations.
A 2:1 honors degree and preferably a good master's degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).
