We offer intensive teaching in the methodologies and concepts used by historians. The course covers a wide range of British history from early medieval to modern periods and includes historical methodology and concepts, ideas and influences, reform, and reaction. There is flexibility in the choice of taught modules to allow you to be able to study the periods of history and subjects that most interest you. For the part-time route, the selection of modules to take and their timing will be decided in consultation with the Degree Programme Director.
