In Stages 1 and 2 you study a common syllabus, developing your expertise in electrical machines and electronic communications systems. In Stage 3 you undertake a large individual design project - for example, developing a frequency synthesizer for wireless biomedical devices - to showcase your skills to future employers. You complement this with specialist topics, such as: nanoscale electronic devices integrated circuit design You complete design projects to showcase your skills to future employers, for example designing and building a robot to navigate around a room.

Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent with no less than 5.5 in each of the four elements of the test.
