Our mechanical engineering degrees focus on developing your knowledge and practical skills across a broad range of engineering topics, so you graduate equipped to succeed in any engineering field. This foundation year will help you build the base knowledge you need to progress to any of our mechanical engineering MEng degrees. This is a full-time program of study covering core mechanical engineering topics, including: foundation mathematics applied mechanics material science
