The first three years of this degree follow the same program as our Small Craft Technology BEng Honours degree. It focuses on the design and operation of small crafts, specialist marine products like yachts and catamarans, which form a significant proportion of the UK marine industry. It includes a fourth year of master's-level study, in which you study advanced specialist modules such as: high-speed and advanced craft ship performance at sea advanced hydrodynamics You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary team to complete an extensive group project in your fourth year. This develops your technical expertise and equips you with professional-standard skills which lead directly to Chartered Engineer status.
A Level: AAB IB: 34 points
Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent with no less than 5.5 in each of the four elements of the test.
