Course Overview

This degree provides a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer and focuses on all aspects of the design and operation of ships and other large floating structures. You'll gain broad engineering knowledge enabling you to design safe, efficient and aesthetic ships. Youll learn from research-active professors from across the globe, bringing their cutting-edge ideas into the classroom. You'll also benefit from using our specialist facilities. After learning the fundamentals of marine technology, you'll move on to specialist naval architecture modules such as: ship design marine structures ship hydrodynamics
