The degree is similar to our Geographic Information Science BSc Honours but includes a year in industry. It is highly ICT-orientated and will appeal to students with an interest in technology, computing, mapping, geography, and environmental management. You learn a range of skills such as programming and data collection and work with technology such as satellite imagery and informatics. The degree is very hands-on, with plenty of opportunities to use our state-of-the-art software. This combination of practical skills and specialist knowledge makes our graduates attractive to employers and we have exceptional employment rates.

Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent with no less than 5.5 in each of the four elements of the test.
