This three-year course will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a successful electrical engineer, specializing in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power. The department's flagship area of research and teaching, you'll learn in our well-established facilities, designed to accommodate large machines and state-of-the-art technology. You'll develop a broad understanding of the fundamentals of electrical engineering, alongside specialist electrical power topics such as electrical machines, renewable energy, and power electronics.
