Course Overview

The MA in Global Operations and Logistics Management is an exciting new prospect for the Liverpool Hope Business School, designed for those seeking a managerial or consulting position in global operations, logistics and supply chain management. Not only will it expand students’ capabilities in preparation for leading and directing organizations effectively. But it will develop students’ analytical, critical, practical and intellectual skills and equip them with strategic thinking, expertise and capability to assist and direct organizations to become operational excellence in this turbulent and complex global economy.

Global Operations and Logistics Management is a discipline that aims to create the highest level of efficiency within an organization to maximize profits by converting materials and labour into goods and services. This is a fundamental and central activity for all types and sizes of organizations across all sectors. This programme will provide theoretical and practical insights into efficient and effective Global Operations and Logistics Management.

This MA will appeal to students seeking a highly relevant postgraduate qualification in Operations Management and Logistics underpinned by multidisciplinary and specialist modules. Students will be exposed to new ways of approaching problems and issue that modern business faces and learn how to apply studied theories practically and successfully to solve them.

General Eligibility

Normally a First Class or Upper Second Class Honours Degree in a relevant discipline (other Professional qualifications may be considered). This programme is aimed at graduates committed to a career in leadership and/or management. In addition, students are normally expected to demonstrate at least two years relevant work experience in advance of coming onto the programme.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• There is a language requirement of IELTS 6.5 overall with a 6.0 minimum of all components.
