Course Overview

Electrical and electronic engineers are crucial to the development of power systems and devices, electrical machines, alternative energy and smart grids, digital communication systems, computer networking, Internet of Things (IoT), and household electronic devices worldwide, to name a few. Engineers capable of designing and implementing electrical and electronic systems and devices for such applications are in high demand all over the world. This accredited course provides you with the opportunity to develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge in a range of electronics fields, including digital systems, image and signal processing, robotics, and sensors, together with electrical systems such as renewable energy, smart grids, advanced control engineering and instrumentation, electrical machines and power generation.

General Eligibility

The normal entry route to the course will be through an honors degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering or a related subject area. Applicants offering equivalent professional qualifications and experience will be considered on merit.
