Course Overview

This course has been created to meet global demand for skilled individuals who understand how computers work, how networks are designed, built, and configured, how Cybersecurity works in an age where the online world is so vulnerable to attacks, and how software is used to monitor and secure these systems. It covers a broad range of computing specialisms and it will open the door to a vast range of careers within this industry. The course offers opportunities for Cisco CCNA module certifications through Net Academy and for Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification. Accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional. (British Computing Society (BCS) 2019). Accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer and partially meeting the academic requirement for a Chartered Engineer (British Computing Society (BCS) 2019)

General Eligibility

120 UCAS Tariff points From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
