Early Childhood Development & Learning BA (Hons)

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of early childhood development and learning. You will explore the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from birth to age 8, and learn how to create engaging and effective learning environments for young children. You will also examine the role of culture, family, and community in shaping children's development and learn about the theoretical frameworks that underpin early childhood education. In addition, you will gain practical experience through placements and fieldwork, preparing you for a career in early childhood education.
