You will cover the five themes of architectural design; communications, history and theory, technology and environment, and practice management and law. You'll have the opportunity to take part in a European field trip which will help you to assess historical and contemporary influences on architectural design. You'll complete two major projects, one rural and one urban in context, allowing you to develop a personal approach to architectural design. You'll also learn about environment and systems integration, constructional, structural design, environmental and sustainable design, and cultural context.
