Course Overview

Alongside traditional philosophical skills of critical thinking, analytic argument, and clear communication, you will also develop the ability to analyze multiple forms of media, write and present material for a public audience, and to read and analyze policy documents. Combined with multiple opportunities for work placements, our degree program will provide you with the analytic and practical skills to undertake a wide range of careers or pursue future study. At Roehampton, we foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, built on strong staff-student relationships which will enable you to thrive, whatever your background. You will learn through engaging and interactive lectures, small group seminars, and one-on-one tutorials and guidance meetings. You will leave the course a highly-employable individual, with the skills to move into many areas of professional working life, including law, the civil service, politics, business, or teaching.

General Eligibility

1. in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Level; 2. pass in one subject at GCE Advanced Level plus (a) passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level, or (b) a Vocational A-Level Single Award, or (c) two Vocational A-Level part Awards; 3. Vocational A-Level Double Award; or 4.Vocational A-Level Single Award plus (a) two Vocational A-Level part Awards, or (b) passes in two distinct subjects at GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level; or 5.BTEC National Certificate or Diploma; or 6. Scottish Certificate of Education with (a) passes in five subjects, including at least three at a Higher grade, or (b) passes in four subjects all at a Higher grade or New Higher grade; or 7. full Diploma of the International Baccalaureate; or 8. Irish Leaving Certificate with passes in four subjects at Grade C at the Higher level.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

  • 1.GCSE requirement: Maths, Grade 4/C 2.IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component
