This course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become proficient in software programming using Visual Basic. Students will learn how to design, develop, and implement software applications using Visual Basic, including how to create user interfaces, handle events, and work with databases. By the end of the course, students will have created their own software application using Visual Basic and will have a solid understanding of the principles and practices of software development.
This course is ideal for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in software development or who want to enhance their programming skills. No prior experience with Visual Basic or programming is required, as the course will cover everything from the basics to advanced concepts. Students will have access to state-of-the-art software and hardware tools, including industry-standard software development environments and hardware simulators.

Software developers develop computer applications that allow users to perform specific tasks on computers or other devices. They may also develop or customize existing systems that run devices or control networks. Most of the time, software developers work in an office.
Applicants must:
(1) Be over 18 years old by the first day of class
(2) Have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
(3) Have a minimum level of English Language - secondary school Grade A/B *
(4) Meet Canadian visa requirements
(5) Have medical insurance. Please arrange your insurance before leaving your country
20 hours per week.
