Course Overview

Develop the skills and knowledge to become a registered mental health nurse. We will support you to care for yourself while caring for others. Designed in collaboration with the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, this course will provide you with experience and confidence, with an emphasis on leadership and shaping a €˜culture of care.

General Eligibility

  • 112 UCAS tariff points, BBC at A levels with one subject preferably in a science. DMM at BTEC to include 6 units in a Science or Health Science subject. 2:2 or above in a previous degree, or a Merit in T-Level in a science or health-related subject.

  • Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a health or science based subject. Applicants required to meet 112 tariff points (example of achieving this would be 24 distinctions and 15 merits and 6 passes or 21D, 18M and 6P).

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) level 7.0 or above with a minimum of 7.0 in all sections of the test.
