Course Overview

The MSci Sports Coaching Science integrated degree aims to develop your understanding of the dynamic and complex interactions which exist within the coaching environment. Youll investigate the science behind performance for athletes and coaches while developing vital coaching skills €“ positioning you at the forefront of the industry and as a foundation for future employment. This program explores key pathways in pedagogy, leadership, and coaching sciences such as physiology, biomechanics, psychology, ethics, and performance analysis €“ offering opportunities to explore theoretical and practical issues throughout. The course provides you with an insightful awareness of how theory from a range of areas can both inform and be informed by practice, in order to develop your critical and innovative problem-solving abilities.

General Eligibility

Your points must include at least 2 A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications, for example: BBC at A levels, DMM at BTEC or use a combination of qualifications to achieve the required tariff.
