Course Overview

You'll learn through lectures and smaller-group workshops and seminars while gaining experience on school placements. From city to village schools or early years settings, you'll experience a range of classroom environments over a minimum of 120 days. You'll put theory into practice on blocks of placement weeks throughout the three years of the course. Lectures focus on developing your subject knowledge and pedagogy and are carefully structured around your increasing understanding of practice from placement experiences. The emphasis on professionalism throughout the course prepares you to become an excellent teacher.

General Eligibility

112 UCAS tariff points, BBC at A levels, DMM at BTEC or a Merit in your T-Level.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The IELTS score for international applicants is 6 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
