The course is aimed at students who wish to work in the oil and gas industry and specialize in offshore operations. It has been developed in close collaboration with industry which ensures the specialist subject areas relevant to the oil and gas life-cycle covered are up-to-date and provide the essential knowledge and skills required for an engineering career within the upstream oil and gas industry. Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honors degree or its equivalent in Engineering or a relevant discipline such as Geology, Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics.
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
