The LLM Law and Dispute Resolution pathway has been designed to incorporate maximum flexibility both in the topics you cover and the way that you learn. You will study major dispute resolution mechanisms such as arbitration, mediation, and construction adjudication. You will be required to attend a one-week Mediation workshop on campus. On completion of the LLM Law and Dispute Resolution course, you will be able to progress into a variety of different careers. This could include a Solicitor or Advocate in a law firm with a domestic and international clientele, or as an in-house Counsel providing advice on the resolution of the dispute on private and public matters.
Applicants will normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honors degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline.
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
