Course Overview

The course will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and independent thinking abilities which are essential for developing a career in the accounting sector, within the banking and financial institutions, or in the field of corporate finance. You will develop key transferable skills in relation to the sourcing, recording, interpretation, and application of accounting and finance information for use in decision making. This course offers the opportunity to extend your study by a year to complete a 48-week work placement. Evidence suggests that graduates who can demonstrate relevant work experience have a better chance of securing a graduate-level job.

Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honors degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline.
