Course Overview

If your passion is for the dynamic events sector, the BA (Hons) Events Management* is the right course for you. Join us and develop sector-specific skills and awareness aligned to high-quality, business skills that will make a real impact on the businesses you work with. Discover opportunities to put your learning into practice through portfolio activity, projects, event management, live events, and case studies, all while developing the skills and knowledge most valued by the business and events sector, thus enhancing your employment opportunities. All students on the events degree will have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of events throughout the course, including a digital event in year 3.

Living and studying in the Highlands gives you access to an exciting and varied range of events in areas such as music, culture, the arts, business, and sporting events. In addition, studying Events Management with the University of the Highlands and Islands will give you the chance to choose option modules from our creative industries courses, such as BA (Hons) Film Making and BA (Hons) Music.

General Eligibility

For 23/24, entry to this course is only available from year 3:

• HND Events Management HND Hospitality Management, or other HNDs where candidates have events experience

20 hours work permit for international students

Language Requirement

• Applicants must have an IELTS score- 6.0 or equivalent

  English (PTE) Academic-58 average with 51 in each component

  TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) iBT4-Min 80 or above with min 18 in each section
