Our BA in Media and Communication is designed to provide you with an understanding of a wide range of contemporary issues related to the theory, development, and practice of mass and interactive communication, both nationally and internationally. You will learn how news is produced and reported and how media industries, politics, culture, and society interact. You will also learn about various media, from newspapers to Twitter, Hollywood movies to reality TV. A/AS-levels: ABB. All subjects accepted. Two AS-levels are considered in place of one A-Level
EPQ with A-levels: BBB + EPQ at grade B
Access to HE Diploma: Pass diploma with 45 credits at Level 3, including 30 credits at Distinction
International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 30 points overall.
BTEC Nationals: Full Diploma with DDM
Twenty hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to prove your English ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.
