The Games Design degree at UON is a course created to give you the opportunity to develop the skills required to design and build games for multiple platforms. Unlike other game design courses, our programme encourages you to explore what the market is looking for and build solutions which meet the market’s needs for the next big game. The object of this course is to give you the opportunity to gain the experiences needed to start your professional journey after graduation.
Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer could be:
BCC at A-Level or,
DMM at BTEC or,
Pass (C and above) at T Level
You will be expected to have achieved GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above. We welcome international applicants and applications from students with a range of non-traditional educational or professional qualifications.
Twenty hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands for study at the undergraduate level
