Our graduates have become Catchment Scientists, Ecologists, Geographical Data Processors, Surveyors, Housing Officers, Meteorologists, Journalists, Government Advisors, and Lecturers. A flexibly structured degree path can be customized with a mixture of human and physical geography modules. Students will have the opportunity to study abroad for a year or work in the industry for a year, either locally, nationally, or overseas. At Swansea, we place a strong emphasis on fieldwork. Our field courses take students to areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Gower Peninsula and to locations across the world such as Borneo, The Indian Himalayas, and Mallorca.
