Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Visual Art offers you the chance to live and study in Britain’s most Easterly town, Lowestoft. You will work alongside experienced professional artists, in dedicated studios, with access to well-equipped workshops. Over the three years, you will be encouraged to develop your artistic identity, establish your area of interest & expertise and challenge yourself to explore new creative areas.

Students will benefit from being taught in small groups, along with weekly individual tutorial support and access to shared facilities and the library on Ipswich Campus.

General Eligibility

  • FdSc/FdA

  • Applicants are required to hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. Applicants who do not hold these qualifications may be considered on an individual basis based on their overall application and the course applied for.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours per week.

Language Requirement

  • IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the student's first language.
