Course Overview

The School of Politics and International Relations has a dedicated Employability, Placements and Internships Officer who works with students to develop work-based placements in a range of organisations. Centrally, the Careers and Employability Service can help you to plan for your future by providing one-to-one advice at any stage of your postgraduate studies.

General Eligibility

Candidates must hold a bachelor degree, and a master's degree in a relevant subject at distinction level, including a distinction grade in the master's thesis.

All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • IELTS (including IELTS Indicator) 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in R&W; 5.5 in S&L)

    TOEFL iBT 90 overall (with a minimum of 22 in R; 21 in W; 17 in L; 20 in S)
