The BA (Hons) Illustration program at ARU College (Navitas) is designed for students who are passionate about creating visual stories and communicating ideas through illustration. The course covers a range of techniques, including traditional media such as drawing and painting, as well as digital tools like Adobe Creative Suite. Students will learn how to develop their own style and voice, while also exploring the latest trends and technologies in the industry. With a focus on practical applications, students will create a portfolio of work that showcases their skills and creativity. By the end of the program, students will have gained the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a successful career in illustration.
The BA (Hons) Illustration program is taught by experienced professionals who are actively working in the industry. 96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent level 3 qualifications), including Art, Design or Media subjects.
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English.
20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

If English is not your first language, you will be expected to demonstrate a certificate of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
You may also be accepted to this course with an IELTS 5.5 (Academic level- with no individual score lower than 5.5) or equivalent English Language qualification recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. Still, you must undertake additional compulsory free English language modules in your first year.
