Course Overview

Careers in electrical engineering range from pure research through product design and development, to industrial and business management. Youll be able to choose from jobs in medical electronics, environmental monitoring, microelectronics, sound technology, biophysics, power, transport, media, engineering, industrial process control, construction and building services, and teaching. Throughout the course, theres help with your CV and a personal development plan. Youll go on company visits and some lectures are delivered by working engineers. You might even get a job offer from the companies that we invite to see students' work.

General Eligibility

UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSE's taken prior to 2017 a grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. For A levels taken prior to 2017, the requirement is 100 tariff points. 22 points for International Baccalaureate.
