Course Overview

There are exciting career opportunities across the banking and finance industries in both the private and public sectors. With your Banking and Finance degree, you may wish to move into a role in the financial markets, in areas such as FX management, derivative markets, or equity fund management, or you could opt to gain experience in the banking sector in areas such as credit risk management, or mergers and acquisitions. You may even decide to start your own business.

General Eligibility

UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSEs taken before 2017, grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post-GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. The requirement for A levels taken before 2017 is 100 tariff points—twenty-two points for International Baccalaureate.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language, you will be expected to demonstrate a certificate of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
