Course Overview

Mechanical engineers are recognised for their knowledge and skills in conceiving, designing, implementing and operating devices, machines, engines and energy systems.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is targeted for graduate recruitment by more than 60 companies.

Studying abroad is an option for all our courses. The named degree (Mechanical Engineering with International Study) ensures that the international study experience is recognised in the title of the degree award.

(Maths HL5, Physics HL5)

Year 2 entry: 38-34

(Maths HL6, Physics HL6)

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
