The MBA course is designed to provide students with a wide breadth of knowledge of different aspects of management and business. The course is relevant to a range of professionals who wish to develop their skills and knowledge in relation to business management and their application to business. The Course Learning Outcomes are consistent with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF Level 9) and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Accordingly, the graduates of the Master of Business Administration will be able to:
Demonstrate advanced, contemporary theoretical and applied knowledge of business administration and the practical skills necessary to identify, investigate and solve managerial issues in a contemporary business environment.
Apply appropriate business research methods to critically analyse and evaluate management decisions.
Demonstrate managerial knowledge, underpinned by the principles of corporate and social responsibility, ethics, and sustainability, to support organisational processes.
Critically evaluate the impact of managerial decisions on corporate strategies, performance, and associated business processes.
Synthesise and effectively communicate managerial models and frameworks relevant to real-world situations with due consideration of the impacts and outcomes affecting diverse stakeholders.
Work well autonomously as well as within group settings to identify and apply innovative business administration solutions to professional scenarios.
An Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent; OR
An Australian Graduate Diploma; OR
An Australian Graduate Certificate or equivalent plus evidence of a minimum of two years’ demonstrable relevant industry experience; OR
Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree or equivalent plus evidence of a minimum of five years’ demonstrable relevant industry experience.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
An English test score with minimum requirements as follows:
IELTS Overall 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5; OR
PTE Academic Score of 46; OR
TOEFL iBT Score of 60-78; OR
Cambridge English: Advanced from Cambridge ESOL (CAE) Score of 169, OR
Equivalent as determined by Holmes English Placement Test.
