Course Overview

Our Economics and Finance degree offers an excellent route into employment. Over the last few years, we have seen graduates go into a wide variety of careers including roles such as Professional Economist, Government Economist, Portfolio Manager, Corporate Finance Analyst, Management Consultant, Financial Advisor, Commercial Analyst, Investment Manager, and Risk Analyst. Some graduates also choose to undertake further study at graduate level.

General Eligibility

A-level: AAA

GCSE: 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or higher including Mathematics grade A/7 and English Language grade B/6 or equivalent, or an appropriate English language qualification. *

*If you have a B/6 in GCSE English Literature we will accept a Grade 5 or C/4 in GCSE English Language.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic or IELTS for UKVI (United Kingdom Visas and Immigration) (Academic) or IELTS Online at 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each component skill. Please note that we cannot accept results from these tests that are over two years old at the start date of the course you intend to study.

  TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition at 80 overall with no less than 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 19 in writing. Please note that we do not accept TOEFL My Best scores and we expect candidates to have met the relevant requirements from a single TOEFL test.
