Course Overview

This course is aimed at those who wish to study advanced topics in mechanical engineering with a focus on materials.

It provides an in-depth technical understanding of advanced mechanical engineering topics. You'll also gain generic skills to contribute effectively to developing company capabilities.

The course is designed to make you more employable and satisfies the Further Learning requirements necessary to obtain Chartered Engineer status.

General Eligibility

Academic requirements/experience

Typically, a first-class or second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in engineering, physical sciences, or equivalent professional qualification. A lower-class degree may be considered with relevant work experience.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
