We place a strong emphasis on the practical application of knowledge. Our MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering programme is designed for applicants who wish to enhance their technical careers in the chemical and process industry. It is targeted at those from a chemical engineering or similar background. The programme provides a variety of practical and theoretical modules to suit students' individual experiences.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's Honours degree at 2.2 level or above (or international equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or a related subject.
To ensure our students have a rich learning and student experience, most of our programmes have a mix of domestic and international students. We reserve the right to close applications early to either group if application volumes suggest this blend cannot be achieved. In addition, existing undergraduate students at the University of Hull have a guaranteed ‘Fast Track’ route to any postgraduate programme, subject to meeting the entry criteria (excluding Social Work).
