Course Overview

This degree will provide students with the knowledge and current professional exemptions needed to train to become a solicitor or barrister. It will also prepare you for a wide range of other career opportunities. It will also open up a wide range of other careers including the police, probation, prison, the court's services, community safety, human rights, transnational law, social work, or the civil service. We provide numerous opportunities embedded into modules and the co-curriculum for you to develop key graduate capabilities, helping to prepare you for life after university. Law modules are designed to develop the essential skills of analysis, reasoning, and clear presentation of facts and legal arguments. Because the law is always changing, you will learn to develop a capacity for responding to new challenges, and this produces flexibility and precision that will assist students when seeking employment.
