Course Overview
As a chemistry graduate, you might work in the industry, research or education; you could choose to become a chemical engineer, research scientist, toxicologist, patent lawyer, analytical chemist, or technical writer. Many students go on to higher study after the first degree in chemistry, allowing them to specialize in an area of interest such as analytical, forensic, synthetic, or materials chemistry and eventually work in a wide range of other specialist roles.
Human Biology graduates have pursued diverse careers including industry, genetics research, medical statistics, scientific writing, management, and sales. You might become a nutritionist, dietitian, health promotion specialist, clinical molecular geneticist, counselor, adult nurse, sports therapist, or technical author. Alternatively, you could pursue opportunities in postgraduate research, teacher training, occupational therapy, journalism, nursing, or medicine.
