Course Overview
The Bachelor of Game Design gives students a strong mix of creative and technical skills. Students learn the full game production process, from planning and concept design to programming, testing, and publishing. Practical assignments help students build a portfolio that can be used for job applications or freelance work. Team projects develop communication, planning, and project management skills that match industry needs.
The program gives students experience with game engines, digital art software, animation tools, and interactive media technologies. Students may take part in exhibitions, competitions, and industry-linked activities that add practical experience before graduation. The degree prepares graduates for careers as game designers, game programmers, level designers, technical artists, UI and UX designers, 3D artists, multimedia developers, mobile game developers, and digital content creators. It also provides a solid academic base for master's study in game development, software engineering, animation, digital media, or related fields.
General Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Successful completion of higher secondary education or an equivalent qualification.
- Good academic record.
- English or Korean language qualification based on the language of instruction.
- Academic transcripts and graduation certificate.
- Valid passport.
- Personal statement or study plan if requested.
- Financial documents for visa processing.
- Scholarships are available for qualified international students based on academic performance, language ability, and university scholarship rules. Scholarship applications are normally submitted during the admission process.
Part Time Work Details
International students with a D-2 visa may work part-time after receiving approval from the university and the Korean Immigration Office. Working hours follow current immigration regulations.
Language Requirement
Applicants whose previous education was not completed in English may need to provide proof of English language ability.
