BA in History of Art and History with Foundation

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the study of art history, covering both the historical development of art and the critical analysis of visual culture. You will explore the social, cultural, and political contexts in which art has been created and appreciated over time, as well as learn how to interpret and evaluate artworks from different periods and cultures. The foundation year provides an opportunity for students without a traditional art or history background to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed on the course.

Students on this course will have access to the University of London's world-class libraries and museums, including the British Museum and the National Gallery. The course is taught by experienced academics who are experts in their fields, and students will have opportunities for work experience and networking through partnerships with cultural institutions.
