Course Overview
The Bachelor of Energy Engineering at KOREATECH has built a strong record in engineering education through practical learning and close cooperation with industry. The program has expanded its teaching and research areas to include renewable energy, hydrogen technology, battery systems, smart grids, energy storage, and sustainable power generation. Students receive laboratory training, project-based learning, and opportunities to work with industry partners.

Students gain practical skills that match the needs of energy companies, manufacturing industries, utility providers, and research organizations. Internship opportunities and industry projects help students understand real engineering work before graduation. General Eligibility
Applicants should have completed secondary school or an equivalent qualification accepted by KOREATECH. Academic transcripts, graduation certificates, a passport copy, a personal statement, and other admission documents are required during the application process. Some applicants may need to attend an interview or submit extra documents requested by the university.
International students may apply for university scholarships based on academic performance. Government-funded scholarships, including the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), may be available for eligible students. Tuition reduction scholarships are offered according to university policies. Applications are submitted through the KOREATECH admission system during the spring and fall intake periods.
Part Time Work Details
International students with a D-2 student visa may work up to 20 hours per week during semesters and full-time during official university holidays after receiving approval from the university and the Korean immigration office.
