Course Overview

Becoming an Assistant Practitioner means you have skills and experience in a particular area of clinical practice. Although you will not be a registered practitioner, you will have advanced skills and opportunities to continue your training. General Eligibility

You will also need to be employed as an Assistant Practitioner (or equivalent, for example, healthcare support worker) for a minimum of 18 hours per week and to have the support of your employer. (If you join as an apprentice student you will need to be working a minimum of 30 hours a week and be sponsored by your employer).
