This course is ideal if you are interested in studying economics with a focus on management and business. The program will give you a strong understanding of economics and business while developing your ability to apply this knowledge to a range of real-world situations. It allows you to build your level of quantitative competence, and if you have not studied maths for some time, we offer short refresher courses that can be taken prior to the start of the degree. Many employers require graduates who are able to clearly state and analyze problems while suggesting realistic strategies and solutions. This course will provide you with these essential skills and so prepare you for a range of jobs in both the private and public sectors.
We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge, and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on the judgment of academic potential.
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
