The BA (Hons) Criminology and Law degree offer a criminal justice route, equipping you with relevant skills across two core related disciplines. In this program, you will gain a solid grounding in criminological research methods and practice as well as current legal knowledge. You will also develop valuable legal skills, including analytic and logical reasoning in addition to academic studies and transferable skills. We will help you develop the multidisciplinary skills, knowledge, and experience that makes you versatile and relevant for the competitive job market. You will be equipped with the knowledge required to work in criminal justice and socio-legal services, where general knowledge of the law is valuable. You will also gain the grounding required to work in the public sector; including areas such as: social and youth work; refugee and victim support; community development, advice work, and housing management. You will also be prepared to work in prison law.
A typical offer will require a UCAS Tariff score between 80 - 104 points. A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
