BSc (Hons) Forestry

The BSc (Hons) Forestry degree at Bangor University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of forestry. Students will learn about the ecological, social, and economic aspects of forest management, as well as the legal and policy frameworks that govern forestry practices. The course covers topics such as tree physiology and ecology, forest mensuration and measurement, forest management and planning, and forest policy and conservation. Additional Information

Students can choose from a range of optional modules in their second and final years, including sustainable forestry, forest hydrology, and forest ecology. The course also provides opportunities for students to engage in research and consultancy work, as well as to gain professional accreditation through the Institute of Foresters of Wales.
