Our MSc Corporate Finance is designed to prepare you for a career in the treasury department of a large company or the corporate finance team of an investment bank. It is also suitable if you wish to work in a management consultancy role with a finance focus or an advisory role with an accounting or professional services company. This applied Corporate Finance master's encompasses diverse topics such as mergers and acquisitions, issuing capital, cash management, corporate payout policy, managing foreign exchange exposure and executive compensation. It will provide you with tools to evaluate corporate finance issues, improve financial management practice and work in professional corporate finance roles.The programme shares a common taught first semester with MSc Finance and MSc Finance and Investment before specialising in Corporate Finance in semesters two and three.The programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the world's largest body of management accountants, and offers at least eleven exemptions from their examinations. You can also work independently towards a certificate of competency in Eikon, which is awarded by Refinitiv (London Stock Exchange Group).
