Course Overview

The first year introduces the key areas in the study of business. In the second year, you choose to either remain on the BSc Business or opt to specialize with a pathway in accounting, human resource management, or marketing, while also developing core skills required for a career in business management.

Our graduates begin new careers or accelerate along their current career path because what we teach in the evening can be applied almost instantly. For this reason, alumni from the Department of Management include chief executives, senior business leaders, notable academics, and public figures.

Graduates can pursue career paths in business, management, accounting, or human resources management. Possible professions include:

human resources officer

management consultant

corporate investment banker

marketing executive.

General Eligibility

UCAS TARIFF POINTS

96-128 points (e.g. A-levels CCC-ABB)

The UCAS tariff score is applicable to you if you have recently studied a qualification that has a UCAS tariff equivalence. UCAS provides a tariff calculator for you to work out what your qualification is worth within the UCAS tariff.

GCSES

You will normally be expected to have grade C or grade 4 GCSE-level English and mathematics. 

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
