BA (Hons) Dance and Performance with Foundation Year

Course Overview

This course is offered as a four-year program, including an initial Foundation Year. The Foundation Year will allow you to develop your academic study skills and build confidence in your abilities, identifying your own strengths and development needs for progression onto an undergraduate degree. This course is designed to develop professional skills and techniques across a range of dance forms. Well give you a broad understanding of the dance industry and the ability to manage a successful career in this exciting field. Youll become a thinking practitioner of dance and spend time looking at performance development through choreography and dance science. This dynamic foundation degree program will also give you the opportunity to work with professional dancers, choreographers, and arts organisations.

General Eligibility

Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for the 3-year undergraduate program, or those who do not feel fully prepared for a Level 4 course, will be considered for the 4-year program including a Foundation Year.. Applicants to these will have typically achieved between 32-56 UCAS tariff points.
